Do you take reservations?

Are children welcome?

Children are welcome at lunch and at Sunday roasts until 18:00. After that, the room turns to evening dining and guests aged twelve and over.

Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Yes. The menu changes weekly and the kitchen adapts most dishes for vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Please mention any allergies when booking and again at the table.

Is there a dress code?

No formal code. Smart casual reads well in the room. The dining room asks for soft voices after eight.

How do I book the Cellar Room?

Do you have step-free access?

The entrance through the close is step-free. The dining room is one floor up; a small lift serves the Cellar Room. An accessible WC is on the ground floor.

Where should I park?

Edinburgh Old Town is best reached on foot. The nearest car park is NCP St James, a short walk away. Waverley Station is three minutes from the door.

Do you sell gift vouchers?

Are dogs welcome?

The front bar is dog-friendly on a slow lead. The dining room is kept for guests only.

Can I bring my own wine?

The cellar is our craft. We don't offer corkage but the sommelier is happy to suggest something from the list.
